A stone memorial at the train bridge in Dickinson County's Breitung Township has been vandalized.
The memorial is dedicated to the three teenagers shot to death July 31, 2008 by a lone gunman, Scott Johnson. He killed Tiffany Pohlson, Anthony Spigarelli and Bryan Mort. The teens were swimming in the Menominee River and jumping from the bridge when they were gunned down.
Troopers with the Iron Mountain State Police Post say the damage to the memorial was done within the past week. It's located by the train bridge near State Street in Breitung Township.
The Michigan State Police request anyone with information regarding the vandalism to please contact the Iron Mountain Post at (906) 774-2122. The Iron Mountain MSP post is not releasing any details at this time regarding the vandalism.
