Media professionals from all over the state are in Traverse City Monday night for their annual awards dinner.

He went to Western Michigan University and has worked at stations in Battle Creek, Kalamazoo, and Lansing. Cornelius says the broadcast community is his family, and he??s glad to join people he has worked with and admired in the Hall of Fame.

??I think all of that is a terrific fabric and that's probably the most important thing. This is a community of broadcasters. We get to do good and make a living doing it,?? said Chris Cornelius.
