The weekly gas price report is out for the State of Michigan, and it appears we are moving in the oppostie direction from the rest of the nation.
AAA of Michigan says gasoline prices have risen about 5 cents during the past week to a statewide average of about $3.45 per gallon. Of the regional surveys, the cheapest price is in the Marquette and Traverse City areas, where the cost is about $3.41 a gallon. The highest average is in the Ann Arbor area at about $3.47 a gallon.
On average, the national price for gasoline dropped by about 2 cents, to $3.36.
