It isn't quite yard sale season yet, which is why a Mom-to-Mom Sale is taking place at Vandenboom School in Marquette Township.
The sale will run from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday. It will be a way for parents to sell gently used items that their kids have outgrown to other parents.
Twenty-four tables will be set up with items ranging from the infant years through teenage years as well as maternity clothes.
"It is a great way to get the items that you might need at a fraction of the cost of what you might pay because a lot of the times when moms sell these types of things, their kids have hardly worn them or maybe not even used them at all," said Jennie Adams, teacher at Vandenboom School.
Parents that sell items will be able to keep the money they make, however, it costs $10 for a parent to rent a table.
Shoppers will be asked for a two dollar donation at the door. Proceeds from the sale will go toward the YMCA Early Childhood Program.
