The people of Munising are trying to raise money so local kids can afford to play hockey.
The Munising Hockey Association is hosting a citywide rummage sale tomorrow from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the Munising Alger Arena.
Rummage sale organizers say their goal for the rummage sale is to raise at least $500.
The association is trying to raise the money in order to keep registration costs for youth hockey reasonable so more kids have an opportunity to play.
"So we have to do a lot of fundraising and the reason that it is only 20% we get from registration is because we try to keep our costs low so that pretty much anybody can try hockey if they want to," says Brenda Walther of the Munising Hockey Association.
If you want to participate you can rent a table at the rummage sale tomorrow for $20.
