The Harbour House Museum teamed up with students from Forest Park Middle School to build large scale models of the logging and minning operations that took place in the area in the past.
The museum is currently displaying smaller recreations of the project. The students built mine shafts, railroads, and logging camps and also did research for the display.
"They had expressed a big interest in working on this exhibit because they got to play around with artifacts that really they had never seen." said Maryann Harrington with the Harbour House Museum.
The museum will be displaying the exhibit until August. The museum is open Thursday through Saturday from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.
