If you were walking down Third Street this evening you probably saw musicians playing at several different businesses along the street. This was all part of the Music on Third event put on by the Marquette Downtown Development Authority along with businesses on Third Street like Togo's and Down Wind Sports. The mini concerts allow residents to stroll up and down the street enjoying local musicians and taking in what Third Street has to offer.
"We just like to see the people out strolling and when the weather is good everybody is out," Part Owner of Togo's Kim L'Huillier said. "They can stop at all the different places and usually every block has something."
Music on Third takes place every third Thursday of the month from June through August from six to eight. If any of the dates get rained out they will have a make-up event the following Thursday evening.
