The U.P. State Fair has a new addition to the many displays ... The Liberty Lego Display!
Chad Stevens started building elaborate Lego displays when he was just six years old.
Ever since, Legos have become his passion.
Now that passion has grown to a display including about three quarters of a million pieces.
And this year, Stevens has brought his Liberty Lego Display on the road, setting up at various fairs.
This week, he's set up in the Ruth Butler Building at the U.P. State Fairgrounds in Escanaba.
It takes quite a while to set up, too!
"Well, on a good day, when we don't drop anything and nothing is crushed in the trailer that we haul it around in, about 6 1/2 hours. Which includes everything except for the lego mini figures that we place around the exhibit," said Stevens.
Admission for the display is $3 per person or $7 per family.
