A new sketch for a person of interest in last week's homicide of Robert Dusseau in Marquette Township was released.
Detectives at the Michigan State Police say he's a white male in his late twenties or early thirties, wearing a tan colored hooded sweatshirt with a zippered front.
Detectives are also reporting the victim's missing Pontiac Vibe was recovered from the parking lot of the Birchwood Apartments located on Werner Street in Marquette Township.
Surveillance footage captured the suspect parking the vehicle in the apartment lot and walking away in the area of Werner and Erickson street at 7:30 p.m. last Tuesday night.
Detectives now say it appears robbery was the motive in the shooting death of Robert Dusseau at the Quik Cash and Guns Shop.
Michigan State Police Sgt. David Johnston said, "Some of the items that were stolen from the business was a long gun, a pistol, and a DVR recording machine and 8-inch monitor--those were taken from the scene."
The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms has raised the reward from $5,000 to $10,000 for information resulting in the arrest and conviction of those involved in the homicide.
State Police ask that you call them at (906) 475-9922 with any information you may have.
