Northern Michigan University is hosting the FILA Junior National World Team wrestling camp over the next two weeks.
College wrestlers from all over the country have gathered at the NMU Olympic training site to polish their wrestling skills. After the camp the team will head to Zagreb, Croatia for the FILA Junior World Championships.
Head coach David Beazley has some high expectations for his team.
"They want to win, I'm just like them," says Beazley. "They're working just as hard as anybody else in the world and we say it all the time. They put their singlets on just like anyone else so we're going to go over and compete hard and come home with some medals."
The NMU Olympic training site has two wrestlers on the team in Arthur Carmona and Alejandro Sancho. They made the team by winning their weight classes at the USA World Team Trials in Madison, Wisconsin earlier this year.
