NMU offers day care options with Wildcat Kids Camp

Parents looking for a day care options in Marquette can use the Northern Michigan University Wildcat Kids Camp once again this year.

The camp focuses on keeping kids active and safe during the summer months. Activities are lined up for each week including dodge ball, swimming and making arts and crafts projects.

The counselors say they hope to provide a safe, fun environment for the kids this summer.

"Our number one goal is safety," says counselor Tara Dowling. "We always want to keep the kids safe, but we want them to have a good time, we want to make sure they have fun and make friends, they learn life lessons and that they just enjoy their summer. It's all about making them laugh and seeing them smile every day. This is such a great experience. I meet so many cute kids every day, so many nice kids."

The Wildcat Kids Camp runs Monday through Friday now through August 22.

Drop off times begin at 6:30 a.m. and the kids can be picked up any time before 5:30 p.m.

They also offer a tween camp. The daily rate for the camp is $35.
