The Noquemanon Trail Network is partnering with the International Mountain Biking Association to get kids out on the trails this Saturday. Take a Kid Mountain Biking Day will give kids of all skill levels an opportunity to learn about bike safety, and then hit the trails. The free event will also feature games like the "longest skid" and prizes for participants.
"Take a Kid Mountain Biking Day is a day for parents and children to get out on the trails, and that would be for beginners as well as others that are more seasoned. We have an intermediate ride planned and an advanced ride; we also have some really great prizes from International Mountain Biking Association and our local sports shop," said Nicole Dewald, Noquemanon Trail Network Director.
Take a Kid Mountain Biking runs from 1 to 4 p.m. this Saturday, October 5. Participants will be meeting at the Noquemanon Trail Head off of County Road 553.
