This suspect, 27-year-old Bernard A. Fish, remains at large and is believed to be in Wisconsin

T he Michigan State Police said they have arrested one of the suspects from last Thursday's armed robbery in Baraga County. The second subject remains at large.

The second subject has been identified as 27-year-old Bernard A. Fish and is still at large and believed to be in Wisconsin. He is described as a Native American male with short black hair, 5'11" and 185 pounds. If anyone has information on his whereabouts, contact your nearest law enforcement agency. The Cadillac Escalade was located, and it is unknown what vehicle Fish may be in at this time.

The MSP arrested the first suspect on Monday in Stephenson. They were acting on a tip from a retired State Police commander and executed a search warrant at a home. The first suspect was inside at the time of the search and was taken into custody without incident.

While executing the search warrant, the MSP recovered evidence from the incident in Watton as well as evidence from another armed robbery and kidnapping in Long Lake, Wisc. that also occurred last Thursday.

The search warrant was executed by the MSP Emergency Support Team along with assistance from UPSET and troopers from the Gladstone and Menominee posts. The Florence County Sheriff's Department also assisted in the investigation.

The apprehended suspect is being lodged in the Baraga County jail awaiting arraignment.
