Parents need donations for substance-free senior party

Parents of seniors at Marquette Senior High School need help raising money for a substance-free All Night Party.

They have already raised $10,000, but they need $10,000 more.

The party will offer games and prizes.

With around 250 seniors in this year's graduating class, 190 students are expected to attend the event.

"We want them to just enjoy themselves, have a good night and have one last hurrah before summer starts. We still need prizes because we'd like every child to have a prize and leave with a prize that night and also donations of food, drinks, snacks for the kids," said Julie Green, co-chair of the all night party.

Parents also need volunteers for the event. The All Night Party will be held on June 2 at the Superior Dome.

If you would like to help, call Marquette Senior High School at (906) 225-5353.
