The Iron County Board of Commissioners has voted to increase camping fees for Pentoga Park.
Since 2011, camping fees were $19 a day or $475 a month. It's now been boosted to $21 a day and $495 a month. The county owns the park and says the extra revenue being raised will help control erosion milfoil.
"We also have done a lot of improvements out there and it's the jewel of Iron County," says Iron County administrator Sue Clish. "Everyone would like to go to Pentoga Park."
Vehicle passes for the park are also increasing by a dollar.
