A mini golf tournament took place at the Family Fun Park in Escanaba Wednesday evening. It was all for a good cause.
The smaller fundraiser for the United Way of Delta County drew 20 teams. There were 75 participants who pre-registered and around 25 people walked in to enjoy the event. Some were new to the game, and others had played before.
"Well, I'm an avid mini golfer. As far as regular golf goes, not so much. I'm getting into it, but I'm not good at it. We're just having a blast out here, so it's a good way to spend some time after work," said participant, Christopher Germain.
The United Way expected to raise around $1,500 from the event.
