Performers bring "A Christmas Carol" to the stage

'Tis the season for Christmas classics! And what better classic to bring to life than Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol?

Actors and actresses of the Vista Theater in Negaunee are putting on the play for the public.

You can expect to see new and old faces of the theater with this performance, as well as a few fun twists.

"The idea of the play really is redemption and the idea of the story. It's the idea that perhaps, if you work at it, you can become a better person, even if you're a really bad person, as Scrooge was, and I think that's a valuable lesson," said Christopher Scott Leith, Director and actor.

The play has a 7 p.m. show this Thursday, Friday, and Saturday night, as well as a 2 p.m. show on Sunday.

Tickets are $8 for adults, $6 for those 16 and under.
