Have you ever taken a Pictured Rocks Cruise in Munising? Well if you haven't, Saturday is the time to do so for free.
It's Yooper Ride Free Day where Upper Peninsula residents ride free with Pictured Rocks Cruises.
Over the last couple of years the event has become such a success the city is also hosting Pictured Rocks Day, a festival at Bayshore Park.
So, after enjoying the sights on the cruise you can stop by the park enjoy some live bands and shop with vendors.
"We decided to add the festival along with it. They ended up with 1,700 to 1,800 free rides and we ended up with 5,000 over here in the park, different people coming," says Kathy Reynolds of the Alger County Chamber of Commerce. "It's just grown and grown and grown. We've already picked a day for next year we're looking at a two day event."
To get on a cruise you have to have a valid Upper Peninsula photo id. Last year more than 1,700 people enjoyed a free ride.
