Pioneer Days came to an end Saturday, and it did so in style with its 35th Annual Pioneer Days Parade in downtown Negaunee.
Thousands crowded multiple streets along the parade route to catch a glimpse of the procession.
Tne participant told TV-6 News as a first-timer, he was impressed with how the close the event brought the local community together.
"Yeah, its something basically to keep everyone together. Y'know, its something to bring the city together. You get to meet new people, see different people you haven't seen in years...all year. I think it's a great thing." said participant Brian Thomas.
Various businesses and organizations such as Marquette Branch Prison, Range Bank and the Negaunee Fire Department got a chance for some exposure in the event.
