Pippin kicks off summer session at Lake Superior Theatre

Lake Superior Theatre Production kicks off their summer session with a production based on Stephen Schwartz's musical Pippin.

The cast of performers portray the tale of a young man in pursuit of all the things he thinks will make him happy.

In his quest, Pippin finds himself toiling with the dangers and temptations of life that could lead to self destruction.

He goes to college and comes back to struggle with what he should do with his life.

"He goes off and he goes to war and has really fun times with women" says actress Alexandra Marks.

Eventually, when Pippin's life comes full circle, he realizes the key to true happiness is not in any of the things he's been pursuing.

In addition to the exquisite, storied message, audiences can expect an even better performance from the Lake Superior Theatre actors and actresses.??

The show is rated PG-13 for mature audiences.

Pippin runs July 9-13 and July 16-20. Single ticket prices are as listed:

      $15 Adults ? $12 Seniors/Students ? $7.50 Youth 14 & under $10.00 Groups (over 10)

Lake Superior Theatre is located at 270 N. Lakeshore Blvd., Marquette, MI 49855.
