      Police recover items stolen in Gwinn break-in

      Location of a break-in at a Gwinn home, involving $5,000 worth of property


      The Forsyth Township Police Department is looking for information regarding two people that may have information regarding several break-ins.

      Police are looking for contact information for Nicole Shari Barto, 29, and Douglas Paul Dobson, 41. Police say Barto is 5'1", 105 pounds and has blonde hair and hazel eyes. Dobson is described as 5'9" and 170 pounds with blonde hair and hazel eyes. He was last seen with a goatee and a tattoo on the left side of his neck.

      Police in Gwinn are investigating a breaking and entering that occurred last weekend, involving more than $5,000 worth of property stolen.

      According to police, the break-in happened on late Saturday night or early Sunday morning. Officials say that around $5,000 in property was hauled away from the home at 1851 Wagon Wheel Lane.

      Items taken during the break-in include a wood stove, televisions, power tools, and prescription drugs. Police have since tracked down the items and recovered them. According to police, the home owners are currently in Florida, but the home is being looked after by caretakers. The caretakers discovered the break-in when they returned to the home on Sunday.

      Two suspects are expected to be interviewed on Thursday which could possibly lead to a felony arrest. Police say that those responsible could face five to ten years if convicted.
