Michigan State Police troopers from the Wakefield Post are trying to recover stolen guns and they're asking the public for help.
If you recently purchased firearms from a private party, specifically a Beretta .30-6 and a Browning .358 caliber, contact the state police or the Gogebic County Sheriff's Department. Officials want to check the serial numbers.
Police say if you find out you are in possession of a stolen firearm, you will not be charged. A reward is being offered for the return of the stolen guns.
