POLL - Charitable donations, tax deductions
In an effort to chip away at Michigan's $1.4 billion deficit, Governor Rick Snyder wants to eliminate a number of income tax deductions for charitable donations.
Some area non-profits are concerned about this part of his budget proposal. They wonder if the government eliminates the tax deductions, will fewer people donate to their organization?
Tonight in the Daily Pulse, we're going straight to the donating source...you. If Michigan eliminates tax deductions for charitable donations, will you still contribute? Yes, the same amount? Yes, but less money? No, I'll stop donating? Or do you not donate anyway?
