      POLL - Extortion Sentencing

      POLL - Extortion Sentencing

Four years in prison - that's what's next for the two Marquette residents convicted of trying to extort $680 thousand from actor, John Stamos.

In addition to the prison time, Sippola will have two years of supervised release, and he's being fined $15,000. And Coss will have one year supervised release and must pay $300 in court fees.

      Here's the full report.

Judge R. Allen Edgar said the amount of money involved and the crime itself led to the four-year sentences.

In the Daily Pulse, we're wondering your opinions on the sentencing:

Are the four-year prison sentences for Scott Sippola and Allison Coss fair penalties? Yes or no?

Vote in the poll below, then be sure to watch your FOX UP News Monday evening for the final results.
