      Poll: ACA & birth control?

Two cases challenging part of the new health care law are headed for the Supreme Court.

Both involve companies owned by Christian families who say the requirement to provide coverage for some forms of contraception violates their religious beliefs.

One company -- the Oklahoma-based Hobby Lobby chain of arts and crafts stores -- won its fight in the lower courts. The other one -- a Pennsylvania company that makes wood cabinets -- had its claims rejected.

In all, there are about 40 lawsuits from companies asking to be spared from having to provide birth control coverage.

White House spokesman Jay Carney says the administration believes the justices will agree that the mandate is lawful and essential to women's health.

Justices will hear arguments, probably in late March. A decision is expected by late June.

Tonight in the Daily Pulse we're wondering: Do you think companies should be able to opt out of the birth control requirement in the Affordable Care Act? Yes or no? Why or why not?
