Poll: Global Climate Changing and Energy
Ex-Michigan Gov. Jennifer Granholm says it's clear the global climate is changing and state residents should recognize the economic benefits of the adjustments needed to get energy from new sources.
The Democrat who served two 4-year terms as governor made the statements Monday at the Michigan Alternative and Renewable Energy Center in Muskegon.
Granholm is participating in a 27-state bus tour titled "I Will Act on Climate."
MLive.com reports that Granholm says Michigan has 76,000 jobs in renewable energy and clean technologies, including those in the auto industry.
Tonight in the Daily Pulse we're wondering: Do you agree with Ex-Michigan Governor Jennifer Granholm that global climate is changing and energy should come from new sources? Yes or no? Why or why not?
