P oll: IRS Too Powerful
The acting commissioner of the Internal Revenue Service is out of a job. President Barack Obama ousted Steven Miller because of the extra scrutiny tea party groups got from the agency when they filed for tax-exempt status. Speaking at the White House, the president said "Americans are right to be angry about it," and that he's angry about it. The firing doesn't end the controversy; three congressional committees are investigating, and the FBI is involved.
