Mayor Rob Ford says he binge drinks "once in a while," but he says Toronto's City Council had no business stripping him of most of his powers over his drinking and his admitted crack cocaine use.
In an interview broadcast on ABC's "Good Morning America" Ford says he's getting help from "health care professionals on a number of issues."
He also accuses city councilors of attacking him for personal reasons, and he suggests many of them are guilty of the same types of behavior.
Toronto's deputy mayor, Norm Kelly, now holds some of the powers of the mayor -- and he's promising a more cooperative approach to governing.
But Ford, who still holds the title of mayor, is promising "outright war," after the city council's vote yesterday that took away most of his remaining powers.
Tonight in the Daily Pulse we're wondering: Do you think Toronto Mayor Rob Ford's actions merit his removal from office? Yes or no? Why or why not?
