Timothy Christ, 28, was sentenced on Monday to serve at least 21 years in prison as a result of a crash that claimed the life of an Upper Michigan teenager.
Christ is responsible for the death of 13-year-old Christopher 'Bubba' Croley of Ishpeming after a drunk driving crash. Croley was traveling to Green Bay in a vehicle with his mother and sisters when they were struck by a vehicle driven by Christ.
According to police, Christ's blood alcohol content level was .27 at the time of the crash.
Christ must serve at least 21 years in prison, followed by 15 years of extended supervision.
Five of Bubba's relatives read statements in court on Monday, and there were also photos taken throughout Bubba's life placed in the court.
