Looking to freshen up your spring wardrobe? You will have that option during a festive event for a good cause.
The Marquette Regional History Center is having their seventh annual purse auction on Saturday. The purses are slightly used, but surely don't look that way.
All the money earned in the silent auction goes to help the museum. The annual event typically attracts approximately 200 guests and collects close to $5,000.
"I really just think it's a light hearted, fun event," said Chris Osier of the Mqt. Regional History Center. "Affordable for most people. A $15 ticket includes great food and you're helping a great cause."
The event begins Saturday at 1:30 p.m. and tickets can be purchased at the door or through the museum's website.
