A group of quilters in Dickinson County are showcasing some of their work at a local business.
The "Saintly Stitchers" quilting group received a paint chip challenge where they had to make a quilt with their chosen colors. The paint chips were inspired by the Sherwin Williams decorator colors, which is why they have been displayed in the store for the public to see. The quilters enjoyed the activity so much that they want the public to be included.
"Then we told then we could display them for the month, and they give away a little quilt kit every day on a daily drawing, and then there's the grand prize at the end of the month, re-do a room, two gallons of paint, a gallon of ceiling paint, and the tools to do it with," said Sherwin Williams Store Assistant Manager, Greg Novak.
The various door prizes and drawings will continue until the end of the month, and anyone can stop in to register for the giveaways. The Saintly Stitchers quilt guild is located at Saint Mary's in Norway with weekly meetings on Mondays.
