The Second Annual Rally for the Cure golf outing kicked off on Monday.
The U.P. Pink Power ladies and Greywalls Golf Course hosted the event. It began with a social hour, followed by a two-person scramble on nine holes.
Eighty-eight players came in support of a breast cancer cure.
All of the money raised goes straight to the Susan G. Koman Foundation and the U.P. Pink Power ladies, who give the money to local cancer patients in need.
"Any contributions would be great! Last year, we gave over $1,000 to Susan G. Koman, and over $5,000 to U.P. Pink Power. We've doubled our sponsors this year, but any money we can keep local is awesome, so we would love help," said Shelby Kivela, organizer.
After the scramble, a dinner was served to the players. Raffles, 50/50, prizes, and silent auctions took place as well.
