Rapid River man arrested for making terroristic threats on Internet

Sat, 08 Jun 2013 14:23:21 GMT — A Rapid River man was arrested Friday night in Masonville Township for terroristic threats and attempted manufacturing of explosive devices.An investigation by police found the 28-year-old man, who is also a convicted felon, made threats on the Internet to build an explosive device and attempt to harm people at a public venue.Officials said the man was arrested at his home without incident. He is now facing felony charges and was taken to the Delta County Jail where he is currently being held without bond.The Rapid River man's name will not be released until his arraignment in Delta County District Court.A joint investigation by the Michigan State Police Gladstone Post, FBI, and ATF lead to the man's arrest.
