Mon, 02 Sep 2013 01:03:32 GMT — Crystal Theatre in Crystal Falls offered a nearly sold out crowd a taste of classic ragtime music. The show is called "Red, White, and Blue Ragtime Review." It featured pianist Dick Kroeckel and organist Dave Wickerham, who played ragtime tunes from the early 1900s. Wickerham co-manages the theatre where he plays the massive Mighty Moller pipe organ built in 1927. The pair has been touring together for years, and they say that no two shows are alike. "A lot of what we do is one time only. It's very much spontaneous, one time through. If we do it again another day, it might be equally exciting, but completely different," said Wickerham. This is the theatre's final performance of the "Gem of a Season" series.
