The first day of school for most students has come to an end, but for others, it will be starting in about week.
Coordinators at the Early Childhood Center in Dickinson and Iron Counties are getting ready for their new year with youngsters. Training took place on Tuesday afternoon for instructors at the center in Kingsford.
Theyâ??re gearing up for children, ages zero to five years old, who will be starting programs next week. â??The Department of Early Childhood at the Dickinson-Iron Intermediate School District offers Head Start and Great Start readiness which are federal and state funded preschool programs for children that are ages three to four,â?? said director, Casey McCormick. â??Children will be returning next week, and we really look forward to having them back in our building very soon.â??
