The sinkhole on Seventh and Fisher Street in Marquette has been repaired, for the most part.
Frozen eight inch pipes under the road burst on April 11th, and caused water to leak and weaken the pavement.
Now the problem is remedied, and the section is covered with dirt and gravel.
It opened up to travel at noon Monday.
Paving plans have not yet been set in stone.
Marquette Public Works says a complete reconstruction of the area on Seventh Street could cost up to $350,000
Another option, which would be just a fix of the road section, would cost about half the amount.
