Sun, 01 Sep 2013 04:16:04 GMT — Hundreds lined the streets of Rock to celebrate Labor Day a little early on Saturday. The Rock Lions Club hosted the 70th annual Labor Day celebration. The parade kicked off events, but the day was filled with food, games, and a craft show. The day is a fundraiser for the Lions. All the money raised goes right back into the community. Visitors say the celebration is a great way to socialize with old and new neighbors. "There's a lot of new people you see around, and people that you haven't seen since the year before. It's just a good time," said Chis Croasdell, Rock native. The Labor Day celebration tends to see between one and two thousand people every year.
