Rozsa Center to hold Ana Olsson Benefit event

A benefit bake sale will be held at the Rozsa Center Friday evening to raise money for Ana Olsson and her family.

Ana is a four year old from Hancock, diagnosed with a rare brain tumor earlier in the fall.

The event will take place from 7 to 10 p.m. in the lobby of the Rozsa. Baked goods will be sold, and there will also be a silent auction. There will be a children's dance theater production of â??The Night Before Christmasâ?? with five dollars from each ticket going directly to the Olsson family.

â??We have children,â?? said Bethany Jones, marketing manager at the Rozsa Center. â??From our hearts, we look to our own families at this time, and when we heard about it and when Joyce and Michelle approached us, we immediately said, â??Yes.â?? This is the right thing to do.â??

One hundred percent of the proceeds from the bake sale and silent auction will go to the Olssons.

Some of the items being auctioned off include a signed Packers football and a signed Red Wings hockey puck.
