Sentencing is scheduled for Monday for two men found guilty of torture charges in Marquette County.
Jason Sadowski, 43, and 66 year-old Charles Cope stood trial in late February. The verdict was handed down on March 4.
Sadowski was found guilty on seven charges, including torture, unlawful imprisonment, assault, and solicitation of murder. Cope was found gulity on two counts each of unlawful imprisonment and torture.
The case stems from July of 2013, when police were called to Sadowski's martial arts studio in Ishpeming.
Two women claimed that the men tied them up in the basement of the facility, and tortured them. Police said this all happened after Sadowski learned the women stole money from him.
Both are scheduled for sentencing Monday morning, in Marquette County Circuit Court. They could face up to life in prison.
