Salon raises money for cancer patient

The 3-2-3 Hair Salon in Iron Mountain raised about $3,600 for a good cause by doing what they do best. Cutting hair.

Terra Shultz has a brain tumor and her good friends at 3-2-3 decided to help her out with her travel costs. So Bobbi-Jo Peterson came up with the idea of shaving her head, and if anyone wanted to come watch all they had to do was chip in a little money. The response was more than any of them expected. There was even an anonymous donation of $1,000."It's really crazy I didn't think as many people would come tonight as they did. The support has been huge, overwhelming. It really warms our hearts to have so much money raised in such a short period of time," said Salon Owner, Deborah McKinzie.

They raised their $3,600 in only eight days.
