The Friends of the Peter White Public Library kicked off their annual used book sale on Thursday.
They gather donations throughout the year and host the sale that benefits the library. Volunteers say they have thousands of books in all genres, and they've been working for the past two days to prepare for the sale.
"This is a great time to come pick up some bargains and benefit the Peter White Public Library's programs and collections," said Heather Steltenpohl of the PWPL. "We collect donations all year-round and what we don't add to our collection are sold here at the sale."
The pre-sale runs Thursday until 9 p.m. and the cost to get in is $5. The sale runs Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m., Saturday from 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday from 1:30 to 5 p.m.
