Preparations are underway for the first-ever Harbor Fest in Marquette, which will replace what was known as Seafood Fest.
The Marquette West Rotary will still run the event, but the theme this year will focus more on boating and the harbor area.
Live music and a fish boil are just a couple of the activities planned, and all proceeds from the event will go back to the community.
Harbor Fest kicks off this Thursday night with a sold out gala. Gates open Friday evening at 5 p.m., with events continue Saturday morning beginning at 10 a.m.
This is the 29th year the organization has held the annual event, having raised over $500,000. For tickets prices, where they can be purchased, and for more information, head to the Harbor Fest website.
