Traffic was diverted Tuesday morning in Escanaba after the top of a semi truck hit a railway overpass.
The accident happened around 6:45 a.m. on US-2 and 41 just south of Danforth Road.
The semi was driving west into Escanaba when the top of the truck struck the bridge. Debris from the truck landed on top of a small sedan driving east. The driver of that vehicle only reported suffering some bumps and bruises.
Escanaba Public Safety responded to the scene. They blocked off traffic heading into Escanaba and diverted drivers onto Danforth Road.
TV6 and FOX UP will have more information when it is available. The clearance on the bridge is listed at 14 feet and 3 inches.
