The Iron County Fair in Iron River kicked off Thursday with Senior Day.
Dozens of seniors received a free lunch and spent the day listening to live acts. They'll have two bands playing every day. This year's carnival includes 12 rides, but the highlight for the weekend is the Demolition Derby. It's happening Saturday night, starting at 6 p.m. Central Time.
"I love all the music that they've been playing and all that," says Rose Johnson. "All the rides are nice you know. You know what I like, the elephant ears, and I hear they're going to have them tomorrow."
The fair continues to Sunday.
