Dozens of people from all across the U . P . filled the Ore Dock Brewery downtown Marquette. It was all in support of the Upper Peninsula Animal Welfare Shelter, also known as UPAWS.
They offered live rockabilly, country, and acoustic soul music to the crowd.
Della and Jim Kee drove all the way from Rapid River to attend the event, and they say whenever an animal is in need, they will do whatever they can to help.
"We counted them up a little earlier before we came up here, and it was a total of 33 that my wife rescued because she loves them and she likes to help them when they're in distress," said Jim Kee.
All of the money raised at this year's event will go towards feeding and housing the animals at the shelter.
