On Saturday, many took advantage of the warmer weather and enjoyed a nice day outside skiing at Marquette Mountain. Not everyone there was local.
Employees at the ski hill say they often get large groups that come by bus to enjoy their slopes. There were only two on Saturday, but there are days they receive five or six.
Going in a large group saves money in two ways. The ski hill offers discounts to groups of 15 people or more, and the groups save money on the travel costs.
"We do it quite often, at least in the Midwest, every other week. We do two to three trips out West and we go to Europe every other year," said Carl Williquette, Green Bay resident.
Skiers in the groups say another bonus is not having to worry about driving. They just sit back and enjoy the camaraderie.
