      Ski swap in Crystal Falls

If you are trying to get your ski equipment together for the season, you may want to head to Crystella Ski Saturday morning in Crystal Falls.

Beginning at 9 a.m., Crystella is having a ski swap to encourage residents to donate or sell their used ski equipment.

The goal is to steer more kids toward winter sports and give those who may not be able to afford equipment to get what they need to hit the slopes.

" Sometimes new equipment can cost up to 400 or 500 dollars. Here they'll have an opportunity to find a pair of used skis, boots. Hopefully we'll have the things to fit them, and hopefully they can walk out the door under 50 dollars, fully equipped, ready to go skIing," said Chris Willman, recreation associate for Crystella.

E verything will be priced low. I tems being sold can be dropped off from 8 to 9 a.m. on the day of the sale and need to be labeled with a price, the owner's name and phone number.
