Many people may be ready to put away their skis and snowboards, but others are still cramming in a few more days of hitting the snow-covered slopes.
Marquette Mountain was open over the Easter weekend, and riders said the conditions are still good.
Although the numbers, in general, have been down this season, officials say they're trying to stay open for another weekend.
"Usually it's a decision based on two criteria: one is hill condition and upcoming weather," said GM Vern Barber. "We look at the long-range forecast, and the second decision is, of course, skier counts."
Marquette Mountain plans to reopen this Thursday, weather permitting. Skiers and snowboarders are urged to call ahead before heading out to the slopes.
