Cold and snowy weather stalled many people Thursday morning, but most of the U.P. was back to business Thursday afternoon.
Parts of M-35 just north of Gladstone experienced near whiteout conditions. The snow has cleared up in many areas, but it is still very cold outside. In Marquette, folks had to dig their way out of their houses.
"You just need to decide when to come out and get the snow out of the driveway because typically about ten minutes after I'm done, the snow plow comes by and puts more on the driveway," said Bob Cambensy.
At this time last year, there was no snow on the ground. This year there is no shortage of snow across the U.P. It is amazing what a difference a year makes.
