A group of more than two dozen residents decided to do something nice for the community on Saturday --- they held a flash caroling for shoppers.
The flash carolers, organized by the Lake Superior Christian Church, appeared at the Westwood Mall in Marquette.
At about 1 p.m. the group nonchalantly gathered in front of Hallmark and began singing Christmas carols hoping to spread the holiday spirit.
"To think that I can come to Marquette and have such a wonderful Christmas experience as carolers as soon as we walk through the door," said Vanessa Holmes, a Ralph resident who enjoyed the surprise.
The group sung songs for about twenty minutes before heading out on their merry way.
